About Vismind Performance

I am a Sport and Exercise Psychologist in Training (SEPiT) on the BASES SEPAR route, currently working towards becoming fully registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council). This rigorous pathway involves supervised practice to ensure the highest standards of professional conduct and scientific application.

I work collaboratively with athletes, teams, coaches, families, and companies. My goal is not just to fix problems, but to build sustainable mental skills—like resilience, focus, and confidence—that enhance performance and well-being in high-pressure environments.

Sample Title: Mastering Pre-Game Routines

Dec 01, 2024 5 min read

This is a template area where the full blog post content would reside. Consistency is key in sport psychology. A pre-game routine isn't just about superstition; it's about priming the brain and body for performance.

In this section, I would discuss evidence-based strategies such as visualization, breathing techniques (like box breathing), and cognitive reframing to help athletes enter the "flow state" before the whistle blows.

Remember, the goal is not to eliminate nerves, but to channel that energy into focus.
